Very well placed hostel, close to lightrail/metro/ferries, shops. Walking distance to many visitable areas. Relatively cheap, varies week to week, but overall much cheaper than other places. Definitely geared towards a younger demographic with several activities to discover some areas of Sydney, it's surroundings and day/nightlife in partnership with the scary canary. (Many rooms you cannot hear the music/vibrations or simply request a room change) Facilities are cleaned twice a day but some guests aren't too observant on cleanliness unfortunately. Quality of rooms varies so make sure you know what you've booked. Friendly staff and overall a very nice stay. R.

Its been nice to stay 6 days 5 nights in this Hostel. This Hostel located in Sydney CBD, so its very easy & walkable to visit tourist attraction. Also so many Cafe & Restaurant around this Hostel. Very recommend for solo traveler with affordable budget. Will definetely stay here again when visit Sydney. Thank you Nomads Sydney...

When I got to Sydney I found a job relatively quickly and needed somewhere to stay whilst I searched for a house/flat share. So glad to have found Nomads! I’ve been here 3 weeks now and it’s been great fun. The activities put on are 100% worthwhile and I’ve met some great people. All the staff are super friendly and always trying to make the experience better. Special mention to Robbie on the front desk! He was super helpful with extending my stay, and made sure I got a good deal! Overall I highly recommend Nomads hostel in Sydney CBD. Great location just across from Town Hall, and a really good sociable place.

Landed in Sydney for my first time and was greeted by the lovely Ellie, for my first person I met in Australia she was nothing short of amazing. She helped explain things about the hostel to me and gave me great suggestions of places to go in Sydney. She guided me to the happy travels team and now I’ve booked my west coast trip (on to the next adventure)!!! She really made my stay a brilliant experience by being so warm and welcoming. Their private rooms are so nice and clean and have a large common area where you can hang out and meet new people. The bar next door was loud but you couldn’t help but have a laugh and a good time. Shoutout to the Sydney nomads team!!!

I had an incredible stay at Nomads Sydney and can't recommend it enough. The vibe is fantastic, mostly because the staff and the people staying there are so welcoming and friendly. I was also really impressed with the rooms; they are beautiful, modern, and kept remarkably clean, which made a huge difference in my experience. I had an absolute blast during my time here and will definitely be back next time I’m in the city.

I have extended a few times as I love the people in this hostel and the staff. You always feel so welcome when walking through reception, Brit and Ellis remembered me from my first check ins and have been so friendly since, always asking how my day was which is really nice. Lillianna and Calum who work with Happy Travels also in reception are also so lovely, it is nice having them to talk to when my hostel friends move on to their next travels. I don't think you could have a more friendly group of people, especially as a solo traveller.

Thanks for an Awesome experience at the Hostel/Hotel, Very Friendly and Helpful Staff, Very Conveniently located close to All the main attractions of Central Sydney, Darling Harbour and surrounding areas. Comfortable and Secure King suite with ensuite, Clean and Tidy. Secure Lockers also available 👌 Downstairs entertainment and chill out entertainment area was nice too. Would definitely stay here again Highly rate it 👌 10/10 Thankyou

Really good hostel and nice staff. Especially Tom and lilly at the reception are amazing and deserve a raise and praise. Stayed here for so long feels like home now. Good hostel for longstay and working especially the 8 deluxe dorms are really nice and comfortable. Bathrooms could be a lil bit better but they’re alright.

The location is excellent, only few minutes walk from the nearest tram and metro station. There is no need for hotel room key, just check in via QR code and download an App to have the hotel room key on you mobile. Travelling from the airport is very easy and no fuss. You can just use you credit card on the local transport system.
